Greetings to you in Jesus’ majestic name! It has been a joy to have you worship with us at WICC. The Lord Jesus loves you, died for you, took the penalty of your sin on the cross, and rose again from the dead so that you can live a wholesome, joyful life. But furthermore, God desires for you to fulfil His amazing plan for you on this earth. It is our prayer that WICC will help you fulfil that plan of God for your life and be a blessing to many.

WICC is a church committed to the WORD of God, the SPIRIT of God and to the PEOPLE of God that are in our sphere of influence. We at WICC are God lovers who want to transform the nations of the world through the love of God, the word of God and the power of the Holy Spirit. WICC was started on the 8th of August 2008 by Dr. John Joseph at Trivandrum when the Lord brought him back from North India where he was ministering as a missionary. The Lord began to touch and gather together people from different walks of life from the city and today has set the church on a mission to transform lives of people around nation and other parts of the world. Today, WICC along with its other branch churches are growing to be a blessing in their communities.

As a church, we are deeply committed to

– The Salvation of the world around us (Every member sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ)

– Discipleship (Every member becoming a committed disciple of Jesus Christ)

– Maturity (Every member growing to the fullness of the stature of Christ)

– The Church (Every member becoming an active and committed contributor to the local Church)

– The Community (Every member committed to transforming the community around us)

– Missions (Every member to carry the Mission and message of Christ to the unreached)

– The Kingdom of God (Every member loving and working to establish the Kingdom of God here on earth)

As you aspire to be a member of WICC, you are committing not only to be blessed by God but also to become a blessing and a transformation agent to the lives of people around the world. We believe you have been touched by the powerful word of God and the exuberant Spirit filled worship at WICC. If so, then you may want to grow deeper and commit to become a member of this family.

“God’s heart for the church!

I hear the Lord calling the church to be a Family on a Mission, a mission to establish His Kingdom on earth. These are times the enemy is not quiet against us and God has not quit speaking to us. In this vision, no one can do it alone, and no one should leave it undone.

I believe the Lord has called our church to be a voice in this city, an answer to people’s questions, a light in the darkness and a city on a hill.

God wants us to be an infirmary to the wounded, a storehouse to the poor, and a lighthouse to the lost.
We must be a family to the lonely, a help to the needy, training base to the missionary, and a launching pad for world missions. We shall think globally but act locally. We shall work locally but shall affect change globally.

We shall raise people who are not afraid to dream, not afraid to colour outside the lines, not afraid to respond to the call for the city, and not afraid to go to the nations.

We must reach the unreached and tell the untold.
We must be known not for our seating capacity but for our sending capacity. We must send our people to the city, villages, islands and nations. We must be a family that hears the voice of God, feels the pain of God, does the work of God and lives the life of God.
He must count on us, to speak for Him, love for Him and die for Him.

We can’t be people that ask to be blessed and go back to rest. We can’t be people that gave the world our best and gave God the rest.

We must raise people in every sphere: the best businessmen, scientists, engineers, doctors, inventors, and ministers for the spirit of God is in us. We must raise leaders in government, influence entertainment, shape ideology and confound worldly philosophy. With us in the city, sinners must come to repentance and churches must grow, media must be good, healthcare must be great, education must be world class, justice must prevail, and corruption must come done. What is our dream…His kingdom come!

We as a church are an answer for the city. Let us arise and build. It all starts with a few people taking ownership and committing first to prayer.

The prayer room is the meeting place with God. It is the birthplace of dreams, it is the fireplace of revival and it is the death place of unbelief.

It is to this glorious place God is calling our church to meet, dream and own…the prayer room, which is truly God’s war room. The battle is won there before it is won in the land. You are the opening speaker in the throne room of grace. Your voice will be heard in heaven and answered on earth. Thank you for believing with us, working with us and praying with us.
We love you, believe in you, shall walk with you and shall be praying for you. We are a family on a mission. Together, we can make a difference!”

– Ps. Dr. John Joseph

We believe,

  • In the one true triune eternal God; God the Father, Jesus Christ, His only Begotten Son, and the Holy Spirit.
  • In Jesus Christ, through whom and in whom all things are created and held together. Being Eternal God, He emptied Himself to come in the flesh, was conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died on the cross for the redemption of mankind, resurrected on the third day and is today seated at the right hand of God the Father, far above all power, dominion and authority in heaven and on earth.
  • That Satan and the fallen angels are in enmity with God.
  • That all mankind has sinned and fallen short of the glory of God, and hence, have been separated from God.
  • In Christ’s atoning sacrifice, that by the shedding of His blood, through His death on the cross alone, is salvation for mankind. That forgiveness of sins is through faith in Jesus Christ and that one receives His saving grace by receiving and declaring the resurrected Jesus as Lord and Saviour.
  • In the Holy Spirit who being in very person God, proceeded from the Father to dwell, fill and commune with every believer.
  • That the baptism of the Holy Spirit with the fruit and the gifts of the Holy Spirit accompanying, is for every believer, enabling each one to live in the fullness of life and to be His witness to all mankind.
  • The Bible, consisting of its 66 books, as God’s divinely inspired and only authoritative and complete word to man, upon which we put our faith and base our practice.
  • In the loving God’s purpose of creating man in His image and in His likeness to be His children and to reign with Him eternally.
  • In each individual’s responsibility to relate to, fellowship with, love, obey and be committed, to God, by which one can live a wholesome and abundant life and minister to one’s fellow beings and unto God.
  • That the baptism in water is for everyone who has received the gift of Jesus Christ, to symbolize the death and burial of the old nature and the resurrection unto the newness of life.
  • The Church to be a living body, the Body of Christ, a habitation of God through the Spirit, of which Christ is the Head.
  • That every believer is an integral part of the Body of Christ and is endowed with spiritual gifts for the fulfilment of the Great Commission.
  • In the partaking of the Lord’s Table to be the privilege of the disciples in the Body of Christ and is a covenant table. It is to be done in remembrance of Christ Jesus and the covenant ratified through Him. That the bread and the wine symbolize the broken body and shed blood of Jesus Christ.
  • In God’s mandate to all believers to be His ambassadors. He has commissioned every believer to make disciples, to equip the Church for good works, to love and serve men and be a light to the world.
  • In the Church as a body of people called out by God from their ordinary walks of life, circumstances and intents which is a living, vital, growing, organism; a functional church of breakthrough believers; guided by the Holy Spirit; having people with Apostolic grace leading from the front; being built on the foundation of the Apostles and Prophets, with Christ Jesus Himself as the chief cornerstone; connected together and mutually accountable in covenant relationships; with full expression of the five-fold ministry, and all other Holy Spirit gifts; working towards the closure of the Great Commission; recognising and being conscious of the larger body of Christ; equipping the saints for works of service and to become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ; in order that the body of Christ may be brought to the unity of Spirit and unity of faith.
  • We believe in the kingdom of God and its expansion and influence on earth and every Christian’s role to establish the kingdom.
  • In the glorious second coming of the Lord Jesus Christ, when He will take His bride, the Church, to reign with Him through all eternity.
  • In the judgment of all mankind, in the new heaven and new earth for the redeemed in Christ, and in the lake of fire reserved for Satan and his hosts of angels, and all those judged by God to eternal punishment.
